One of my current favorite bands is OneRepublic and, like so many others, I love their song Counting Stars because it has so many great things going on it, including a law of attraction technique to help us change how we see money, shift our vibration or energy, and tap into a deeper understanding of money – that is a more attractive mindset.
The first thing you want to shift for this technique is that money isn’t a thing; it certainly isn’t paper. Besides, so many different countries have different paper – No, money is an energy, a flow.
How does this help you have law of attraction help you attract more money?
Use the universal wisdom of the lyrics by OneRepublic: “-say no more counting dollars, we’ll be counting stars-“ When you switch your mentality that way, you come from a different place. Ryan Tedder, who sings and writes the lyrics, is brilliant or tapped into the universal concept of oneness. We are connected to everything, we are a part of the oneness, a universal truth among religions – in that oneness we want to look to the universe, the stars, the cosmos and replace the idea of earning money or making it. Technically, making money is illegal! No, instead you want to recognize that you are a part of a larger flow, a part of the cosmos and you can connect with and count on yourself to attract money.
The lyrics suggest that you should see the energy of everything, of the flow; that money comes from something within you. Money is an energy connected to your expression, your personal power and creativity. It isn’t from the hours you work or the value that anyone places on your skills. It is really about your being.
Thus, you want to count stars so that you are honoring yourself and your being – your connection to oneness. That is a deep and grand energy to have law of attraction use for your experiences with money.
The Golden Flow- To get into this flow so that you are counting stars instead of trying to make money, and your energy is coming from oneness, you must flow any resistance or beliefs that say you must earn money and that it is separate from you. Getting in your golden flow is as easy as taking 3 simple steps: 1) welcome the resistance or limiting belief; 2) allow or embrace or experience what comes; and 3) then let it flow meaning take your focus off the belief or resistance.
Practice getting in the flow because the more you recognize and sense your counting of stars instead of earning or counting money, the more abundance you will experience and the more you’ll recognize that you can tap into the flow of money, since you too are a part of oneness.
