One of my favorite things is watching cinema that illustrate universal laws.
Just found a great show on Netflix – Sense 8.
2 of my favorite things:
1 – In the story there are 8 main characters that are all connected. If you’ve heard that we are all connected and you don’t know what that looks like, this is a great example of it.
I’ve been working as a teacher of spirituality for over 15 years. Students that connect with themselves through meditation and self-improvement work begin to develop this kind of connection. They can tune into other people, parts of their life or themselves and sense the energy and get a feel for how things are in the other person, the situation or themselves.
It’s awesome to be able to tune into energy this way and we can all do it if we choose.
2 – Karma!
I bet you think karma is like the golden rule. However, the golden rule doesn’t work because good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to good people.
Sense 8 does a marvelous job of showing us what karma really is. In the show, each of the 8 characters are their own person and they have their own gift and strength. At the same time, a lot of them share karma, an issue that they are trying to work out in their lives, such as learning to stand up for themselves.
Karma runs a bit deeper than just an issue, but this is a fantastic example that will really give you a sense of what karma is really about!
Two thumbs up for Sense 8. Enjoy!
